These Terms of Service govern your use of the Mila Nails Academy website, your purchase of digital educational materials, and your booking of in-person training.
The Mila Nails Academy website is owned and operated by MK Beauty Lab LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States. MK Beauty Lab LLC is the seller and provider of the products and services offered through this website.
By using this website or purchasing our products or services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
The Mila Nails Academy website offers educational products and services in the nail industry, including:
- Online courses;
- Video masterclasses;
- Digital educational materials;
- Private in-person training (“Private Training”);
- Training for two participants (“Duo Training”);
- Training for salon teams (“Salon Team Training”); and
- Other educational programs that may be offered through the website.
The content, duration, format, and price of each program are described on the applicable product or training page.
2. PAYMENT
All prices are stated in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Full payment is required to reserve and confirm a date for in-person training unless different arrangements have been expressly agreed to in writing by MK Beauty Lab LLC.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and current payment and contact information.
3. DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND ACCESS
Following successful payment for a digital product, the customer will receive access to the applicable online course, video masterclass, or other purchased digital material.
The method of access may vary by product and may include a link, password, downloadable file, or another method of digital access.
Customers are responsible for providing a correct email address and other required information when placing an order.

4. LICENSE TO DIGITAL MATERIALS
Purchase of a digital product grants the customer a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the purchased materials solely for the customer’s own educational purposes.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the course or masterclass content or any intellectual property rights to the customer.
Unless expressly authorized in writing by MK Beauty Lab LLC, customers may not:
- Share access links or passwords with another person;
- Allow another person to access purchased materials or accounts;
- Copy, record, download, or reproduce materials in a manner not specifically provided as part of the product;
- Publish any portion of the materials online, on social media, through messaging services, cloud storage, or other platforms;
- Distribute or forward the materials to third parties;
- Sell, resell, rent, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the materials;
- Use the materials to create another course, masterclass, training manual, or competing educational product; or
- Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, materials available through the Mila Nails Academy website, including text, photographs, images, illustrations, diagrams, graphics, videos, designs, educational materials, course structure, and other original content, are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
All applicable rights are owned by MK Beauty Lab LLC and/or the applicable rights holder, depending on the specific material.
Permission to use materials for personal education does not transfer copyright or any other ownership rights.
6. RESTRICTION OR TERMINATION OF ACCESS
MK Beauty Lab LLC may restrict or terminate access to digital materials where there are reasonable grounds to believe that a customer has:
- Shared an access link or password with another person;
- Provided unauthorized access to another person;
- Illegally copied or distributed materials;
- Resold access; or
- Otherwise materially violated these Terms of Service.
If access is terminated because of a confirmed material violation of these Terms by the customer, a refund may be denied to the extent permitted by applicable law.
7. IN-PERSON TRAINING
In-person training takes place on the date and at the time agreed upon and confirmed by MK Beauty Lab LLC.
Participants are responsible for arriving on time and following reasonable training and safety requirements.
Late arrival does not extend the scheduled training time.
Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for in-person training are governed by our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. DUO TRAINING
Duo Training is designed for two participants.
If one participant cancels, MK Beauty Lab LLC may fill the available place with another student.
If a replacement participant cannot be arranged, the remaining participant may be rescheduled to another available Duo Training date. The remaining participant will not lose the amount already paid because of the other participant’s cancellation. The full amount paid will be credited toward the rescheduled training.
The participant who cancels remains subject to the cancellation and refund terms set forth in our Return and Refund Policy.
9. SALON TEAM TRAINING
Additional terms for Salon Team Training may be agreed to in writing depending on the number of participants, training location, and other circumstances of the particular booking.
If separately agreed written terms differ from these general Terms, those individually agreed terms will apply to the applicable booking to the extent of the difference.
10. RETURNS, REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS, AND RESCHEDULING
All returns, refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling requests are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
By purchasing a product or booking training, the customer agrees to the Return and Refund Policy in effect at the time of purchase.
11. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE
The educational materials and training offered through this website are provided for educational purposes.
Individual results may vary depending on experience, practice, ability, and other individual factors.
Purchasing or completing a course does not guarantee any particular professional, business, financial, or other result.
Where a professional license, permit, certification, or other qualification is required to perform particular services in the customer’s jurisdiction, the customer is solely responsible for determining and complying with those requirements.
12. WEBSITE AND COURSE INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information regarding our products, services, and training.
We reserve the right to correct obvious errors, typographical errors, or inaccuracies and to update information on the website.
We may also modify the content, structure, or individual elements of educational programs when reasonably necessary to update or improve them, provided that such changes do not deprive the customer of the essential service purchased.
13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
We may use third-party platforms and service providers to deliver our services, including Shopify, payment providers, video-hosting platforms, and other technology providers.
Use of certain third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
MK Beauty Lab LLC does not control independent third-party services and cannot guarantee their continuous or uninterrupted availability.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MK Beauty Lab LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products, educational materials, or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. TRAVEL FOR IN-PERSON TRAINING
Customers are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodations, and transportation to attend in-person training.
Except where otherwise required by applicable law, MK Beauty Lab LLC is not responsible for airfare, hotel accommodations, rental vehicles, transportation, or other travel-related expenses.
Customers traveling to attend training are encouraged to make refundable or flexible travel arrangements.
16. PROHIBITED USES
You may not use the website or its content:
- For any unlawful purpose;
- To engage in fraudulent activity;
- To attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, accounts, or digital materials;
- To distribute malicious software;
- To infringe the intellectual property rights of MK Beauty Lab LLC or any third party; or
- To interfere with the normal operation of the website or services.
17. PRIVACY
Our collection, use, and processing of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
21. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and other applicable policies published on the website, constitute the terms governing use of the website and purchases of the applicable products and services.
